Catching up on all of my shopping trips in the last couple of weeks.
My shopping trip at CVS on 5/9/10. I did very well. I used about $25 worth of ECBs. I used a gift card and spent $16.35 and got back $20.99 in ECBs for $91.67 retail value merchandise. I saved 82% from retail amount + have over $20 ECBs to use on my next trip.
I bought the following:
- 4 Carefree pads $1.00 each – Used 4 – $1/1 coupons 4/25 SS = FREE
- 2 Stayfree pads $Stayfree pads $3.69 each – Used 2 – $1/1 coupons 4/25 SS and $4 CVS coupon = $1.38 got back $4 ECBs because I purchased 4 Carefree/Stayfree products. This was a surprise.
- Claritin D 24 hour 10 count $12.99 – Used $2/1 coupon 5/2 SS = $10.99 I was hoping this was part of the Claritin deal but it wasn’t.
- Hydro 5 razor $8.99 – Used $5/1 coupon 5/9 SS = $3.99 got back $4.00 ECBs = FREE+ Profit $.01
- Zyrtec 10mg 30 count $18.99 – Used $4/1 coupon 5/2 SS and $5 CVS coupon = $9.99 and get back $7 in ECBs.
- Kotex U $4.99 each – Used $1/1 coupon = $3.99 and get back $4.99 = FREE + $1 Profit
- Clear Care $14.99 – Used $3/1 coupon 5/9 SS and $5 CVS coupon = $6.99 and get $3 in ECBs.
- Kleenex Cottonelle 12 pk $4.99 – Used $1/1 coupon = $3.99
- March 2010 CVS Reinventing magazine = $.99
I also used a $5/$30 coupon.
Here is my CVS shopping trip on 5/14/10. I paid $1.33 ($.97+$.36 tax) for all of the above! I used a $6.97 ECB and I used a gift card and spent $1.33 and got back $7 in ECBs for $36.12 retail value merchandise. I saved 96% from retail amount + have over $7 ECBs to use on my next trip.

- 2 Nivea Body Wash $6.99 (regular price) – Used 1 – $4/1 coupons 5/2 RP and Used B1G1 coupon from ALL You magazine = $2.99
- 2 Nivea Lip Products $2.99 (regular price) – Used 1 – $1/1 coupons 5/2 RP and Used B1G1 coupon from ALL You magazine = $1.99 for both
- For all 4 products got back $5 ECBs after buy $15 worth of Nivea products = FREE + Profit $.02
- Huggies Diapers $8.49 – Used 1 – $1.50/1 coupon = $6.49 and got back $2 ECBS
I used a $5/$30 coupon.
I ran into RiteAid after my CVS trip and got the following items. I don’t have everything pictured. Still pretty good deals. I used the $20 Rite Aid coupon from the Zyrtec deals I did a month ago. I spent OOP $9.49.
- 1 Infusim $3.99 – Used $3/1 coupon 5/9 SS = $.99
- 1 Claritin D 24 HR 15 ct $16.99 – Used $2/1 coupon 5/2 SS and Rite Aid Adperks $2/1 = $12.99
- 2 Benadryl A/C Gelcaps $5.49 (Didn’t realize it wasn’t on sale was looking for $4.99) – Used $5/2 coupon 4/11 RP = $5.98 for both
- 1 Zegerid $9.99 – Used Rite Aid Adperks $2/1 and $4/1 coupon 4/18 SS = $3.99 get back $1 Rite Aid Rebate
- 1 Excedrin $1.99 – Used $1/1 coupon 4/25 = $.99
- 1 Mega Pack Diapers Clearance = $6.99
- Rite Aid Pants on Clearance = $4.99

Yesterday, I went to RiteAid and did the diaper deal that I mentioned. I didn’t have any of the wipes coupons so I instead just bought diapers. I didn’t take a picture because I put them away before I got my act together and took my pictures.
Today, I asked my hubby if I could run into RiteAid since it dawned on me that the wipes are on sale $2/$5 and I have these high value coupons just sitting there. I spent $6.38 for 9 packages of wipes that is $.71 a piece. Not bad at all!
- 3 Huggies Wipes 2/$5 or $2.50 each – Used 3 – Huggies IP coupon $2/1 = $.50 each
- 6 Huggies Wipes 2/$5 or 42.50 each – Used 3 – Huggies IP coupons $2/2 = $1.50 each
Used a $5/20 Adperks coupon.
I wanted to share some of the deals I grabbed at Walmart today.
- Bic pens for FREE,
- 2 Nivea body washes for FREE $3.97 and used the $4/1 coupon,
- M&Ms bags for $1.67 a piece after using a B2G1 coupon from 5/2 RP, and
- 2 Cetaphil products after using my $2 off any product IP coupons. The Cetaphil products even came with 2 more $2 coupons exp in 2011. The moisturizer SPF15 $8.97 – $2 = $6.97 and the SPF 50 $12.97 – $2 = $10.97.
- 1 Sidewalk caulk for $1 – Finding creative cheap ways to play outside.
