Aldi Shopping Trip 9/4/09

Before I started to use coupons I would go to Aldi on a regular basis.  In the NOVA area, we have 4 Aldi's now and originally we had 2.  It is a great grocery store!   Not many people know what I'm talking about when I say, "Aldi", usually I get, "What is that?" or "I know Aldi, VA!".  Then I explain the Aldi store and the history of it. This week is a busy week for me.  My daughter was diagnosed with a double ear infection.  She is feeling a lot better. Good news is, it's the Sewing Expo this week!  Woohoo!   Yesterday, I learned about the serger and how to create some beautiful stitches with it.  I also learned about fusible web.  I've worked with fusible stabalizers but haven't tried the fusible web before.  It is great because it doesn't melt as quickly as other brands do. Plus, this weekend is my anniversary weekend! 7 years ago I married the most wonderful gentleman in the world.  I'm so blessed to have him in my life,  he loves, cares, and supports me and our little girl.  I love him always and forever. Today I went to CVS with my daughter.  I had a $10 ECB that was going to expire today so I had to use it.  I had the $4/$20 coupon from the Ready Fill booklet.  What to buy?  I decided to buy one of the blood sugar monitors since that is a profit and the Glade Soy candle.   I also took TheThriftyMama's advice and checked out the 50% off all summer sale.  The signs at my store aren't very well displayed so I priced checked everything.
