On Saturday I stopped at CVS to get some Benadryl for my daughter.  She had a very strange case of hives on Friday and the doctor said that she was ok but must have been exposed to something that she was allergic to.  We just can't figure out what it could be.   The hives didn't last long.  She wasn't bothered by them either. Does anyone know of places that sell bulk food?

I was just reading MoneySavingMom.com's post about her shopping trip this week and purchasing Bulk food from a local store that just sells bulk food at great prices.  I'm super excited about this because in some cases it is a lot cheaper and healthier. Do you know of a store in the Washington metro area (Northern Virginia, DC, or Maryland) that sells bulk food? I did a little research and found a place in Harrisonburg, Virginia http://grandmaspantryva.com that is a couple hours away.   The prices are really good.  A great stockpiling place!  I’m curious of the cost of shipping. “Sucanat, Natural – priced per Pound” $1.69 Unrefined Sugar – (Demerara) – Priced per Pound $1.39 Occident Flour – Unbleached – Priced per Pound $0.69 Anybody purchased from them before?

I needed milk and I really wanted to go to Harris Teeter for the last day of super double coupon event.  Thanks to my wonderful couponizer I did have several coupons that I could use to make the trip well worth my while. Here is a neat hint in the front of the store most Harris Teeter stores will have a clearance setup.  This store had a lot of medicine but a lot of it was expired!!! Oops!! Not even sure if they are allowed to sell expired medicines.  Anyway, always check you never know what deals you might find. Thanks to Jenny from Southernsavers.com, she found an unadvertised deal for Huggies Baby Wipes!   They are on sale for $2.50!  Check out her post HERE! I had $13 ECBS expiring this week so I ran in went to the red machine scanned my CVS card.  Always scan your card at the red machine you might get a $5/$15 this week!   I got a $4 off a box of Huggies!  Others got a $2 off any Huggies wipes. 5 - Huggies large wipes $2.50 each 1 - CVS cough drops $.50 -$13 ECBS $.58 tax OOP
