2010 Savings Challenge Update – March 2010

2010 Savings Challenge, Uncategorized
How are you doing on your 2010 Financial goals? Check out my post from earlier this year HERE. Our goals that will take most of the year to complete: 1.  With the extra savings from our mortgage each month we are going take it and invest.   We will include stock that we were going to sell last year into this fund.  We have a goal and so far we have about 40% saved up! Thanks to paying myself first each month, we expect this year to reach 47% to 54% of our goal.  I'm curious what we will reach! 2.  Save towards landscaping our front yard.  We need to get a couple estimates to figure out how much we need to save. We plan on doing some of it ourselves…

[caption id="attachment_2824" align="aligncenter" width="291" caption="Lowes Trip 4/2/2010"][/caption] Gardening 2010.  I can't believe it.  I'm going to garden this year. Then earlier last month I was looking at my favorite organizer site DIYplanner.com and saw this Garden Planting List which is based on the Square Foot Gardening method, so I had to check it out. …

I want to welcome my new and old readers to my new blog - RedberryDeals.com. I want to share with you several tips I've learned about deal buying. I also got the "down" feeling when I missed out. Here are my tips: [caption id="attachment_133" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Shoppers Trip 11/23/2008"][/caption] 1. Rite Aid Shopping Trip 3/27/10

Coupons, Rite Aid, Uncategorized
Ok, I know this is way over the top.  I went over board but I love mascara.  I really do and to get it for FREE is so exciting.  I've bought mascara at CVS recently even though it was $2.  Now, I won't ever buy any again. I went into a new Rite Aid that I hadn't been in and the deal worked so good that later after I got home I collected the rest of my B1G1 coupons and I hit my local Rite Aid. After my second trip, I helped someone else get this deal at the store. When I was trying to decide how many I wanted a lady walked by me and I immediately asked her if I was in her way, and she was so…
