Looking for a Washington Post Deal? How about $.59 Sundays?!

Newspapers, Uncategorized
I'm always looking for good deals on getting the paper cheaper.  I've had issues trying to get a good deal on the Washington Post these last couple months.  I've learned to keep calling and asking.  My last bill was incorrect and I didn't get the deal they offered and instead they offered me not as good a deal so I took it just because I still wanted the delivery.   I should have canceled. Now, I'm going to call back and ask for this one and get them to send me the bill so I can pay for a YEAR (52 week) subscription instead of just 26 weeks. Subscribe to The Washington Post today and save up to 79% off the newsstand rate Get 26 weeks of Sunday home-delivery for just 59¢…

Rite Aid Shopping Trip 11/13/10 – All for $11.25 and got back $8.99!

Coupons, Rite Aid, Shopping Trips, Uncategorized
Wow!  It's been a long time since I posted a shopping trip and I thought this one was worth it to post. Check out all I got for $11.25 and I got back $8.99 to use on my next purchases.  I'm really amazed at the deals that Rite Aid has with their new +UP reward program. I did this in a couple transactions because I had a raincheck for the Nivea lotion which would have been a $5 +UP but what the cashier did was put it towards my next purchase.  What a great idea. I highly recommend getting to know the cashiers and managers at your stores because they can help you with rain-checks, checking the back for the product or even some other creative ways to help you…

Where have I been?

general, Uncategorized
Where have I been? Life has been a little crazy around my household.    As I've mentioned before I work full-time outside the home and then I get home and do my best to take care of my family.  My daughter is now active toddler who wants "Mommy" and "Daddy"  constantly in the evening and since she gets a good nap time during the day her bedtime has been extended to 8:00/9:00.  After getting her to bed, it is pretty much time to go to sleep myself so my blog has been neglected, even my email and my reading up on deals. This comes to my next point.  It is wonderful to have a stockpile!  I am so grateful for frugal shopping because I'm able to have that freedom of not…
