CVS Shopping Trip 7/18 – Photo Books! Great Gifts..Maybe!

This was a little crazy but we did it!  It took a lot longer than my husband and I planned.  That's life!  With a toddler in tow we did it in a couple hours by going to 2 different CVSs.  We got 4 photobooks for FREE!  OOP= 0.00! We went to one of my favorite CVSs which is not much of a favorite anymore.  The red coupon machine has been hacked into, seriously, it has the windows desktop on the screen and has been like that for a couple months.  My husband chuckled at it and even tried to see if he could get the program to run.  He had no luck. Rite Aid Shopping Trips – 7/12-7/18

I successfully did the Rite Aid Huggies Diaper deal this week!  Now, you can do the rebates 1 or unless otherwise stated.  I've included some other options that could have worked as well, a note for the future. (Note: I had already bought a pack earlier in May that qualified for the 6 pack of Huggies diapers.  That purchase I made a $0.1 PROFIT.) I've also updated the Rite Aid Coupon Policy.  The manager at my favorite Rite Aid explained to me that you can use more than 1 Internet Coupon per transaction, in other words, 1 Internet Coupon per purchase, just like regular manufacturer coupons.  Woohoo! CVS Shopping Trip 7/8/09 – Free Bic Soleil Razors!

Today, I stopped into CVS to see if I could get a couple deals.  I had a late meeting at work and thought I would check out some deals before heading into traffic. I really wanted to get the pencils but they were out. Caliber or CVS Brand Pencils 20 pk or Double Blade Pencil Sharpener $0.99 Earn 0.99 ECBs Limit 3 =FREE after ECBs! I instead got the great deal of the Bic Soleil Razors with free refills for $2.99 and used the $3.00 6/28 SS coupon = FREE! Thanks to TheThriftyMama for this info!  I strongly suggest looking in the center aisle or the end aisles for the ones with the free refills.  My store had about 20 of them in the aisle. Shopping Trip – Shoppers – 5/31/09

I went to Shoppers on 5/31/09 and got some great deals! A couple things to mention beware you CAN'T use IP coupons over a $1.00 including $1.50 because Shoppers won't accept them.  It is against their policy to accept a coupon above $1.00. The cashier wouldn't accept them and the manager agreed.  This was in Mananas, VA. I bought 4 PopTarts for $2.50 each and 4 Frosted Shredded Wheat for $2.50 each. I also bought a Kelloggs Raisin Bran for $2.50 Total $22.50. I used 2 -2/$1.00 PopTarts expired today 5/31. $5/20 (Kelloggs coupon from the Shoppers ad) Used the $1.00 coupon from the Washington Post bag (back in March?). Total: $11.50 $1.28 a box  not too bad I also bought a couple other things too.   Great shopping trip saved…

Boater’s World Going Out of Business Sale

Look at this stuff!   Boater's World is going out of business and this was the last day.  My husband had been stopping by for the last couple of weeks buying things when he saw them.  One of the things that he saw that caught his attention was the SodaStream makers.  We bought the first one at around $50 normally over $100.  Then after showing it to others he went back and got a couple more for prices at $40 - $20.  Then today when he stopped it they were down to $9!  He already has friends and family that want them. Giant Shopping Trip 5/29/09

Ok did it!  I completed a pretty good shopping trip at Giant. OOP $56.57.  Not to bad. However, it got lower... I did have a problem using the X/XX Bloom coupon because you have to have a cashier enter it in or the customer service and this is usually something you want to use first.  I got back $10.25 for that coupon + tax!  Yeah, I was surprised that I got tax back too. Then the Cat machine didn't print out my $2 for the Deer Park water deal.  I got $2.00 back for that. Last, I didn't get back my $.05 for each bag.  The manager was wonderful in refunding me all of these things and he said there was a way to do this at self checkout.  I…

Here is an update to this shopping trip...I received the following rebates back. Thanks to several posts -TheThriftymama.com, Redemption Unlimited, CouponCravings.com I went to Staples this evening with my husband and daughter. I saw that a package of HP paper would be $1 after the rebate!  Since I've been using a lot of paper for coupons I liked Redemption Unlimited's idea of buying the paper.  Then I saw CouponCravings's post about the Casio Label maker.  My husband I love to create labels on just about everything.  Yes, my husband put a label on our label maker.  hahaha...in any case, I showed my husband my list and instead he started looking at the laptop deal on the front page. I went to Shoppers this evening and got some great deals.   Here are some tips: Don't use the self-checkout Because it won't accept coupons that equal overage. The computer won't accept coupons after a couple and the cashier has to enter them. The cashier might not double or triple them accurately, because he/she has to do it manually. Go to a regular checkout line. Do a small transaction. It is a lot easier to keep track of coupons in smaller transactions. And, you don't have to take as long in line.
