Rite Aid Shopping Trip 11/13/10 – All for $11.25 and got back $8.99!

Wow!  It's been a long time since I posted a shopping trip and I thought this one was worth it to post. Check out all I got for $11.25 and I got back $8.99 to use on my next purchases.  I'm really amazed at the deals that Rite Aid has with their new +UP reward program. I did this in a couple transactions because I had a raincheck for the Nivea lotion which would have been a $5 +UP but what the cashier did was put it towards my next purchase.  What a great idea. I highly recommend getting to know the cashiers and managers at your stores because they can help you with rain-checks, checking the back for the product or even some other creative ways to help you…

The Cost of Diapers – May 2010

This past month I bought a lot of diapers.  Got to get that stockpile up!  My daughter is almost 2 so it is time to get potty training started and I'm looking for any suggestions. Catching up on all of my shopping trips in the last couple of weeks. My shopping trip at CVS on 5/9/10.  I did very well.   I used about $25 worth of ECBs.  I used a gift card and spent $16.35 and got back $20.99 in ECBs for $91.67 retail value merchandise.  I saved 82% from retail amount + have over $20 ECBs to use on my next trip. I bought the following: 4 Carefree pads $1.00 each - Used 4 - $1/1 coupons 4/25 SS = FREE 2 Stayfree pads $Stayfree pads $3.69 each - Used 2 - $1/1 coupons 4/25 SS and $4 CVS coupon = $1.38 got back $4 ECBs because I purchased 4 Carefree/Stayfree products.  This was a surprise. Ok, I know this is way over the top.  I went over board but I love mascara.  I really do and to get it for FREE is so exciting.  I've bought mascara at CVS recently even though it was $2.  Now, I won't ever buy any again. The Cost of Diapers 2010 – March Update

Wow!  I haven't bought many diapers this month.    I'm definitely keeping my eye out for more deals. After adding in my diaper purchases for February and March here is what I’ve spent so far on diapers this year.  I will be getting additional rebates for the Rite Aid Pampers and will subtract that when I get it. I got my rebate check from Caregivers Market Place- $12.50!   Not bad for saving my receipts for Huggies diapers and a few other products then at the end of the year I filled out the rebate form.   I will add that $12.50 back into the cost of diapers for this year, since I didn’t include that in my calculations last year.
