P&Gbrand Everyday Solutions – Get coupons and samples!

I was looking closely at the P&G brand Saver for this week and discovered that it has some pretty good coupons for our area.  For example the $1.00 off Bounty paper towels are for 1 multi pack or 2 any size and there is a $1.00 off Iams cat food.   Several others are pretty good too. I then did a search for other coupons that are P&G products and came across the P&G Sample and Coupon Everyday Solutions website.  Click HERE to sign up for samples and coupons. If I understand it correctly each month about this time you can login and then select samples and coupons that you would like.  This is great! Look at what we got! A Free Sand box!

On Friday, my husband came home and said, "Look at what I got our daughter!"   I thought, "Uh Oh!"    There on the top of the Isuzu Rodeo is a Little Tike Tug Boat sandbox!  He found it in the trash.  The plan is to clean it out really well and then add fresh sand in it.  It has a lid too.    Pretty neat.

CVS Shopping Trip 7/18 – Photo Books! Great Gifts..Maybe!

This was a little crazy but we did it!  It took a lot longer than my husband and I planned.  That's life!  With a toddler in tow we did it in a couple hours by going to 2 different CVSs.  We got 4 photobooks for FREE!  OOP= 0.00! We went to one of my favorite CVSs which is not much of a favorite anymore.  The red coupon machine has been hacked into, seriously, it has the windows desktop on the screen and has been like that for a couple months.  My husband chuckled at it and even tried to see if he could get the program to run.  He had no luck. CVS Free Hardcover Photo Book! 7/12-718 – Perfect Christmas gift idea.

What a great deal!   My suggestion is since this freebie is for 10 pages, put all of the photos that you want on to a CD or SD card prearranged so it is easier to use the Kodak machine.  I got a free book from Snapfish back in December 2008 and it took me a couple hours to organize the photos.  Since, I have all of my photos online and in some sort of date order I  might take sometime to download them and head to CVS to create this great photo book.   What a great gift idea!  Grandpas, Grandmas and others would love it!  Great Christmas gift idea too! Boater’s World Going Out of Business Sale

Look at this stuff!   Boater's World is going out of business and this was the last day.  My husband had been stopping by for the last couple of weeks buying things when he saw them.  One of the things that he saw that caught his attention was the SodaStream makers.  We bought the first one at around $50 normally over $100.  Then after showing it to others he went back and got a couple more for prices at $40 - $20.  Then today when he stopped it they were down to $9!  He already has friends and family that want them. Antique Car Show 5/16/09

For a fun filled May afternoon go the Fairfax City Antique Car Show.  My family has gone to these type of events in the last couple of years and they are a lot fun.  The best part is it is FREE to attend.   Plus, you can watch a Model T be put together in front of your eyes!  Kids of all ages have fun and learn a lot too. Staples Shopping Trip – 5/6/2009

Here is an update to this shopping trip...I received the following rebates back. Thanks to several posts -TheThriftymama.com, Redemption Unlimited, CouponCravings.com I went to Staples this evening with my husband and daughter.
