This afternoon I was able to run in with my daughter and buy a jar of Similac formula.
My card 2nd transaction:
1 Similac 22.99
-3/15 coupon – Thanks I heart CVS
-1 Similac 22 oz larger coupon 10-12-08 SS
-6.99 ECB
-4.99 ECB
-2.00 ECB
subtotal: 5.01
-5 Similac Check (I have two of these)
Total OOP.01 + tax (not sure if this taxed or not)
OOP .16 used GC OOP 0.00
That leaves me with $2.99 + $2.00 (Fall Spending) = $4.99
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Addition:
This morning I did the first transaction and instead used my card and a 5/25 that I got in my email. I decided to buy 2 papers because there are so many coupons this week – $1.50 each. A lady that was also buying a paper put down the center section and I asked her for it after she paid for it. She was very nice.
Unfortantly, my transaction didn’t work out the way I planned.
1 Enfamil 25.9 oz 22.99
2 Washington Post Sunday papers 1.50 each
subtotal 25.99
5/25
(-3 catalina manu. coupon (Giant food) My step-dad has been getting them every time he has been shopping and he gives them to me. The CVS computer wouldn’t accept the coupon the cashier tried and then argued with me about it being a Giant “only”. Those did work at Walmart. Lesson learned!)
-11.98 ECB
subtotal 9.01
-5 enfamil check (only have one of left)
Total OOP 4.01 + tax
======================================
I breastfeed my daughter and now that she is almost 7 months it’s time to add more formula and baby foods to her diet. It’s becoming harder for me to pump enough for her. She is now drinking about 6 oz per feeding and needs at least 3 bottles. It didn’t help that I was sick the last couple of weeks either so formula has been a life saver. The good side is she really enjoys it. I still breastfeed her at home in the morning and nights.
As most of us know formula is expensive. I’ve been looking all over the place for good deals on formula. Which is why I tried to keep up with breastfeeding as much as possible. Thankfully she is at the point that she is enjoying her cereal and soon will be enjoying other foods as well.
She likes both Enfamil and Similac. We have been feeding her mostly Enfamil as a supplement for the last couple of months.
This coming week CVS ad 1/4 thru 1/10 has both Enfamil and Similac (23.2-25.9 oz) on sale for $22.99.
I have a lot of ECBs on my card and some on Nana’s card too.
This is the thought I have:
Nana’s card
1 Enfamil 25.9 oz 22.99
-3/15 coupon – Thanks I heart CVS
-3 catalina manu. coupon (Giant food) My step-dad has been getting them every time he has been shopping and he gives them to me.
-11.98 ECB
subtotal 5.01
-5 enfamil check (only have one of left)
Total OOP .01 + tax (not sure if this taxed or not)
My card 2nd transaction:
1 Similac 22.99
-3/15 coupon – Thanks I heart CVS
-1 Similac 22 oz larger coupon 10-12-08 SS
-11.98 ECB
-2.00 ECB
subtotal: 5.01
-5 Similac Check (I have two of these)
Total OOP.01 + tax (not sure if this taxed or not)
My card 3rd transaction:
1 Similac 22.99
-3/15 coupon – Thanks I heart CVS
-1 Similac 22 oz larger coupon 10-12-08 SS
-6.99 ECB
-4.99 ECB
-2.00 ECB
subtotal: 5.01
-5 Similac Check (This would be my last one)
Total OOP .01 + tax (not sure if this taxed or not)
Now I need to look for some good ECB deals because this would leave me with only $2.99 ECBs left on my card and $7.98 on Nana’s card.
Nice site. There
