What’s your Laundry Schedule? and What do you use to clean your clothes?

How do you do your laundry? Do you do it all at once? Do you take your time and a do a load once a day?  Leave me a comment with your thoughts. I've had this problem for sometime now. Since I work full-time, I rush around the house in the morning to get the baby, husband and myself out the door. I sometimes throw in a load of laundry into the washer and take a load out of the dryer and put it into a basket for later folding or hanging. Where to get the”Sunday Double Deal” of the Washington Post?

About 10 months ago, I saw some bloggers post and show pictures of a Double Deal on their local newspaper.  Instead of buying 1 at $1.50, you buy 2 at a discount - 2 for $2.   I've been looking ever since to find these magical deals of newspapers for the my local newspaper the Washington post and finally I found one at my local Giant.   I don't go to my Giant every week so I knew I wouldn't always get it but when I do I would always check.    I recently posted on Slickdeals.net about the Red Plum appearing back in the Washington Post and made the comment about the Sunday Double deal. Virginia – Sales Tax Holiday August

Reminder starting tomorrow! Virginia is one of the states that offers a Sales Tax Holiday for the first weekend in August.  That is a 5% discount! For those that don’t have kids or have little tots, this holiday is a great time to buy items like underwear, socks, t-shirts, and sneakers.  It is also a good time to buy craft supplies for the younger kids like paint, paper, and markers.  Start thinking about Christmas gifts! My Rite Aid July Rebates! Woohoo!

I just want to take a moment to document my July Rebates and costs for Rite Aid. After buying the diaper deal (4 packs of Megas), buying some things we needed and buying some of the freebies (Stayfree, Feverall, and Rolaids), I'll get most of it back.  I'm not going to list every item I purchased but the amounts go like this. OOP=$82.10 (used 2 $5 GC NOT include in calculations, I treated them as cash.) I'll get 2 -$25 GCs and $19.00 Rebate check. Total Cost = $13.10  + Free pack of Huggies value at $11.49 I did make a mistake on the Stayfree and had to return a couple and buy some later.  I also made a couple trips since the $5/$25 is per customer.  It all worked…

CVS Shopping Trip 7/18 – Photo Books! Great Gifts..Maybe!

This was a little crazy but we did it!  It took a lot longer than my husband and I planned.  That's life!  With a toddler in tow we did it in a couple hours by going to 2 different CVSs.  We got 4 photobooks for FREE!  OOP= 0.00! We went to one of my favorite CVSs which is not much of a favorite anymore.  The red coupon machine has been hacked into, seriously, it has the windows desktop on the screen and has been like that for a couple months.  My husband chuckled at it and even tried to see if he could get the program to run.  He had no luck.
